My passion for drawing started when I was still a child, in Brazil. Combined to a technical programming school, I ended up as a perfect geek illustrator. I’ve worked for 7 years with e-learning and decided to open my own illustration studio. Dealing with lots of agencies I realized I would like to work inside one of them.

UX and concept - IKEA Evolve
We were asked to idealize a digital solution to launch a new supposed furniture's line to IKEA.
We came up with the solution IKEA Evolve, based on easily interchangeable parts where you can create the best furniture that fits your neccessity. Using a 3D online interface, just drag and drop the components and get your ready-made list (and assembly manual) to the physical store.
All those projects can be shared and ranked by users as an opensource database. The more people use, the best crowdsourcing knowledge can be improved.

UX and concept - SVT Play Snip-it
Tasked with a new concept to the major swedish TV channel, we presented a solution to SVT Play content that enables the user to save parts from the whole programs and create their own mashups. Check the case-movie!

UX and concept - Winter friends
During the hard winters in Sweden, it is really common to get injured by falling on the icy roads, mainly the elderly ones. Winter friend's campaign aims to stimulate volunteering work by simple actions. Spreading sand in front of your home building or promoting a group action inside your school/work can make difference.
Those situations also help to develop the sense of community and responsibility with great people around you.

Brastemp photoshooting storyboards
I was called to develop rough storyboards to guide a product's photoshooting for Brastemp's website. Garage agency liked so much the storyboards that they started using it as a way of presenting campaigns to the client.
Watercolors for LG "Be Smart" campaign
LG Electronics and Editora Abril joined forces to launch a competition among Twitter followers to answer "What's Smart for you?". Connecting to the campaign's site "Casa Smart" (smart house), i was commissioned to paint watercolors inspired by the answers of selected professional bloggers. This project was made with Sinc agency.
Stencil graffiti azulejos at Possible Worldwide Agency
A special area was created at the agency Possible Worldwide to provide decompression moments within the team. With the best view of São Paulo's skyline, i was invited to decorate this area joining the stencil graffiti technique with the traditional portuguese tiles, called "azulejos". Editorial illustrations - Brainstorm9 advertising blog
Joining forces with the most important brazilian advertising blog, Brainstorm9, I illustrated some posts related to social media behavior in a cocreation process with the post's author, Daniel Sollero.
Patterns for kids clothes
I developed pattern's illustrations to the new children's cloth collection from a brazilian store known as "Os Quindins". Patterns were created for both girls and boys and respected a mix of educational and fun subjects.

I'm a brazilian guy and my studies included both artistic and technical knowledge: Interactive Media during post graduation, Editorial Production as a bachelor degree at University, Data Processing when I was at high school and a 2nd technical course for Industrial Graphic Design. This content led me to work 7 years in Brazil focused on e-learning, running at the same time my own freelancer illustration company where I could work for advertising agencies and design stuff for kids.
As a clown, i experienced a lot of situations related to improvisation capacity when faced unknown challenges, quick response to adapt to different scenarios and people out of my comfort zone, assuming risks and accept failures to then find new paths, for example. Besides the volunteer work at hospitals i'm able to take advantage of these skills at my professional and personal life.
My actual big project is the Interactive Art Director program at Hyper Island. I moved from São Paulo to Stockholm in order to experience a new kind of leadership and creative process. As an illustrator, visual thinking fits just perfectly in my way of work. My drawing skills are currently useful to explain ideas, whatever media I use. Tablet for vector illustration, watercolor sketch or a pen napkin doodle, you choose :)
